For plumbers, electricians, HVAC, roofers - and anyone else who loses work to missed calls

Your missed calls, texted back in 30 seconds.

You're on a job. A customer calls. It goes to voicemail, so they call the next name on the list. You just lost the job.

Not any more. Within 30 seconds of the missed call, the customer gets a text in your business's name. TextedBack finds out what they need and sends you the details.

Your phone, on a job

The call you didn't answer is the job you didn't get.

80%

Forrester research on caller behaviour. Voicemail is where jobs go to die.

Two missed calls a week, one of them a real $400 job, is over $1,600 a month walking to the next name on Google. TextedBack is $99 a month.

How it works

You dial one code on your phone. That's the setup. Calls you answer, you answer. Calls you miss come to us.

1

They call. You're busy.

The call comes to your phone as normal. If you don't pick up within 20 seconds, it comes to TextedBack instead of your voicemail. Your number doesn't change.

2

We text them back in 30 seconds.

From your business, in your name. We ask what's wrong, where they are and when they're home. No quotes, no diagnosing, no pretending to be you.

3

You get the job, not a voicemail.

One text to you (and the office, if you've got one): the problem, the address, when they're around, their number. You call back and book it however you book things.

What lands on your phone

Three lines and a number. Enough to call back knowing what you're walking into. Anything odd - a complaint, a commercial job, someone who wants a human - gets flagged to you instead of handled.

Every Monday you get a one-page email: calls missed, jobs captured, anything we weren't sure about.

Straight answers

What about my personal calls?

Give us the numbers you don't want touched - family, friends, your supplier. They get a plain "leave a message" and we never read it. Everything else is deleted after seven days.

Do I have to change my number?

No. Your number stays on the van, the website and Google. You dial one code so unanswered calls forward to us. Dial another and it's off.

What if the customer's on a landline?

We can't text a landline, so they hear a short message asking what's wrong, where and when, and leave it. You get the same three lines either way.

Will it quote or book jobs for me?

No. It never gives a price, never diagnoses, and never puts anything in your diary. It finds out what the job is and gets it to you. You do the rest.

Is it a robot?

The texts are written automatically, in your business's name, from a sheet we fill in together on the setup call. A person checks anything it wasn't sure about. If a customer asks, it says so.

Who's behind this?

Rick Adams, in Bayfield, Ontario. You get his number, not a support ticket. If something's wrong, you call him.

Two weeks free. Set up in one phone call.

Leave your name and number and Rick will call you back - or call him now. Fifteen minutes and you'll watch the first text land.
